About

"I'm the oldest of my family of 6, including myself. I have brunette hair and I'm just at 5' 4" tall. There's nothing too exciting about me, I'm vegetarian, outspoken about my opinions, and very energetic, and I can be a cool person if you get to know me. Probably the easiest way to get to know me is by text messaging, cause that's all I ever do :D. I have a bad past with a cloudy future and I'm planning to change all of that, and hopefully for the better good. My blog means a lot to me, while I know that not a whole lot of people look at it and a whole lot less people comment, I hope that someone will see what I'm really like."

What's the meaning behind the subject? Well that's the sound that a hair sallon makes when you're getting your hair trimmed off.

So I decided to make a trip to a day spa and get something radical done to my hair. Besides the fact that I was the only male in that building, it was an overall weird experience.

I watched every 4 inch piece of hair fall to the ground, and kept saying "I hope this looks good, there's no going back!". Sure enough, after 10 minutes in the chair, I love it!

So how short did I get it? Let this picture be your guide:

So yeah, it's pretty short.

But here's the thing, I like it a lot :].

Otherwise, nothing too new with me. Some problems with friends, but I think I've sorted that out by just not being around them anymore. There's been a lot of rumors as to why, but the honest answer is that I just need to be with people with better morals. Have you ever heard the phrase, "bad company corrupts good morals"? I've realized that over the past couple weeks, that phrase has never been truer. So I've decided that I need to find better company. Sure they may not be the coolest crowd but you know what, I don't need a cool crowd.

We'll see where that brings us in the future.

Looking back a year ago Thursday, November 13, 2008

When I first decided to go vegetarian. It's really interesting, because I look at how I viewed my choice then, and how I view it now. My viewpoints have changed slightly, but still remain the same.

The interesting thing is that, contrary to what a lot of people ask of me, I still have no appeal for meat. I don't have any cravings for meat that I miss or something like that. I don't find my vegetarianism conflicting with my normal life. Sure, my dishes at restaurants are limited, but that doesn't mean I'm lost without hope. I don't look at picking pepperoni off of my pizza as the one thing that's going to bring me down.

Sometimes I get heckled for my opinion of vegetarianism. About 90% of the things I hear against vegetarians are absolutely ridiculous, have no logic behind them, but are somehow hard to argue, but I (try) not impose my beliefs on people.

Just getting my brain on this topic gets me looking around at vegetarian resources and how much compelling material there is supporting vegetarians...it's pretty cool to read.

Things have been really weird...I think the two keywords would be mistakes and kindness.

Mistakes, because a lot of the things I'm doing aren't really working out...things just happen and then all my plans fall apart.

Kindness, because recently I've been trying to be just an overall nicer person...be generally humble, kind, outgoing and not weird...I'm trying to fix a couple of things but my reputation holds me back from that. It seems to just be a restraint on me, restricting my efforts to change. Oh well.

Too much drama/homecoming/speech and debate Monday, October 06, 2008

There's way too much drama in high school...I never thought it'd be this bad. I've been told stories, but you can't really understand it until you actually go there. At least now I'm finding out who my true friends are, and where they've been all along.

Homecoming was last Saturday...it was pretty cool, wasn't much different from any other formal dance I've been to. Lots of rap/hip hop, flashy lights, dancing, and people being retarded. Went pretty fast though for 3 hours.

Believe it or not, I'm in Speech and Debate for Dobson. We had a tournament last Friday/Saturday as well. My first round was HORRIBLE, I basically had no clue what I was doing and was completely silent for one of my speeches...but now I have a much better idea of what I'm doing, and how to do it. I didn't win a single round, but I think the idea of my first tournament is to just enjoy it and make sure I have everything down.

Long time no post Wednesday, September 24, 2008

I've been so busy with homework and everything that I forgot to hop on here and give it a good post. Oh well.

Lots of lots of drama in high school...it gets really old after a while. I'm not sure whether I should let it slip by or actually care about it. We'll see.

I'm still unsure of what to do with my website...I know I'm going to keep it, but what to do with it I don't know. It might turn into a fileshare server, which is what I've been using it for in the background already, and then it'll have a page of games in the front. We'll see about that too.

Nothing much new is happening really.

The Footnote of Truth

"Truth is something that we lack in this world. Something that comes rarely, only from the good kids with lots of money and good things going from them. Why just them? Because rich people don't have anything to hide, nothing to cover up. They don't need a veal of secrecy and things that aren't true to cover up their lies and misfortunes. They don't need to make their lives better by telling other people what their fantasy is. Are the rich better than anyone else? Nope. Because everyone has flaws. The rich hide themselves in their own, more real, fantasy. They cover up their misfortunes with a more material object. It goes to show that no one is perfect, so don't put yourself above others. Treat everyone one the same and humans everywhere will become kinder. That makes this little place we call Earth that much bearable."
